Ashlee took time last week to address rumors about her pregnancy weight gain.  Blogs have been buzzing that the 23-year old singer has gained too much weight at this point of her pregnancy.  Said rumors insisted that she’s bought a slew of size zero jeans to inspire pregnancy weight loss.  According to her My Space, those stories are a bunch of bunk.  Ashlee wrote:

Today I read on a blog that I went to the doctor and he said I was overweight and I cried and went to Planet Blue (because I was blue) and bought 6 pair of size 0 jeans. Now it is ridiculous to read such nonsense about oneself so I thought I would address this one…
1. My doctor says I am right on target with my weight gain
2. Have not been to Planet Blue in at least two years
3. Love my maternity jeans ..they have stretchy tops it is awesome!
4. My closet full of size 0’s are being worn by Pete right now and he looks hot in them
So now that I have cleared that up let me tell you…carrying a child is the most inspiring, emotional, amazing experience of my life. My weight and my pant size are the absolute last thing I am concerned about. I am only concerned with having a healthy pregnancy and a healthy baby. People who talk and judge pregnant women’s weight need to get a life!!!

I’m very careful where I get my information it’s going to take more than that National Enquirer reporting something to make me believe some of the things I hear. In recent pics Ashlee looks like healthy expectant mom. She sounded very happy and healthy in a recent interview.

Ashlee Simpson and hubby Pete Wentz are getting ready for their child. First step? Baby proofing. “We’re getting the nursery ready,” said Simpson. “I can’t wait to be a mom and he can’t wait to be a dad, so it’s fun.” The couple married in May and confirmed the pregnancy soon after.

This is the first baby for the 23-year-old rocker/actress and the 29-year-old Fall Out Boy singer. Ashlee has gotten mother advice from her family. “My mom and my grandmother [have] given me good motherly advice,” said Simpson, “but it’s one of those things where your mother instincts kind of kick in right away.”

Ashlee also thrilled with her married life. “I have the greatest husband,” she told ET. “He’s so awesome. It’s fun to have somebody that I love to do this with.”

Brad Pitt’s in Venice to promote Burn After Reading at their annual film festival  Angelina Jolie, his life partner and mom to his 6 kids didn’t make an appearance but we did get a glimpse of his two oldest boys, Maddox, 7, and Pax Thien, 4. He took the boys out for a boat ride on Wednesday to survey the beautiful city and to show off their rockin hair.

Maddox is sporting a blue faux hawk while Pax decided that peroxide is his friend. Angelina adopted Maddox from Cambodia in 2002. Billy Bob apparently wasn’t interested in parenting the child. Angelina got full custody and Brad adopted him when the two got together. She took custody of Pax whose from Vietnam last year. Brad added his name to the papers soon there after.

How did I miss this one? Forgive me Celeb Kid followers because I completely missed the birth of Ricky Martin’s twins via surrogate. The Latin superstar made an announcement last week though it’s not clear exactly when the babies were born.

In response, Cardinal Oscar Andres Rodriguez of Hondurous has taken issue with how Ricky became a parent.

“What Martin did diminishes the dignity of a human being. You can’t just buy or rent life. It’s even worse when someone famous and in the public eye is doing it.”

I’m not sure why the Cardinal thought it was his business to attack how Ricky chose to become a parent. It’s not how I would choose to become a singe parent(too many kids need to be adopted) but it’s not my business. It’s his.

Charlie Sheen and his new bride Brook Mueller are expecting.  It’s the first child for Brooke and the fourth for Charlie whose already dad to 25-year-old Cassandra Jade Estevez, her mother’s Sheen’s former girlfriend Paula Profit, and 3-year-old Sam and 2-year-old Lola with ex-wfie Denise Richardson.  those two are still involved in an ugly court fight. Brooke and Charlie tied the knot in May of this year and made no secret of their plans to immediately start a family.. Looks like it worked.  Being the father of four shouldn’t be problem.  Charlie is the highest paid actor on TV.  He makes and estimated $825,000 an ep for Two and a Half Men.

The former adult film star and the martial arts phenom are expecting their first child together.  The couple confirmed the pregnancy to US Weekly. “Yes, I can confirm I’m pregnant. It’s still early, so I’m being cautious. I’m resting as much as possible,” she told the weekly magazine. “I’m so happy!” The couple, who’ve been together two years, are “in a state of shock” even though they’ve been trying for a baby.

Jenna previously had a miscarriage while married to to adult film star Jay Grdina. The 34-year-old had also tried in vitro but said this pregnancy was “God’s plan”.

There have been rumors that Jenna was anorexic though she is looking healthier these days. “I’m just saying super healthy,” she proclaims. “I’ve moved down to the beach with Tito — I love being by the beach.”

Congratulations to the happy couple.

Zuma Nesta Rock is his name and his momma, daddy and older brother are thrilled to meet him on Thursday in Los Angeles. Weighing in at an impressive 8 pounds and 5 ounces, Zuma joins the family of rock royalty where older brother Kingston hangs out with Shiloh Jolie-Pitt. According to publicist Dave Tomberlin, everyone is doing well, “Mother, baby and family are all happy and healthy.”

Gavin is also father to of 18-year-old Daisy Lowe, the daughter of Pearl Lowe. He’d previously thought he was the girl’s godfather but a 2004 paternity test revealed he was the child’s biological father. Last year Pearl revealed that Gavin has severed ties with the family even though he’d previously doted on Daisy.

Hopefully the birth of the boys will help Gavin mend his relationship with the Pearl. Congratulations to the family.

Congratulations to Matt Damon and Luciana Damon on the birt hof their second daughter. Gia Zavala joins big sisters Alexia, 10, and Isabella, 2. Alexa is from Luciana’s previous relationship.

Everyone’s doing great,” Matt’s rep, Jennifer Allen, told Just Jared. “She is a healthy baby girl.”

Matt and Luciana married in December of 2005, in New York City Hall. Isabella, was born on June 11, 2006 in Miami. Matt’s next films hits theater. Matt’s just finished filming Green Zone a drama “about a pair of CIA agents on the trail of certain Weapons of Mass Destruction and a foreign correspondent following their mission.”

The rumors have been flying and good friend Victor Gerber seemed to announce the pregnancy a few weeks ago. Finally Jennifer Garner has confirmed the latest addition to the family. At Baby Einstien’s 10th anniversary celebration a

USA Today reporter asked Jennifer about her latest project. She pointed to her stomach and said “This”.

Jennifer and husband Ben Affleck are already parents to a 2-year-old daughter Violet. She hasn’t revealed the due date but said it’s believed to be sometime this winter. Congratulations to the Affleck-Garner family. Maybe Ben will get one that looks like him this time around.

The three big name actors who helped complete Heath Ledger’s last film have donated their salaries to his daughter. Matilda Ledger was not included in her father’s will (probably because he never amended it after she was born) and they wanted to make sure she was taken care of.

They played versions of his character Tim in fantasy epic The Imaginarium of Dr Parnassus.

Director Director Terry Gilliam gushed over the the trio to the Sun. “They didn’t take money — it goes to Heath’s daughter.

“That’s extraordinary! And wonderful . . . and when you’re part of that, you think, ‘Ah, this is maybe why I went into the movies in the beginning. I thought it would be full of wonderful people.’

“And we’ve got a movie full of wonderful people who did extraordinary things to help.”

I don’t have any doubt that Michelle will be able to support her daughter but this was a wonderful gesture.
